Whidbey Island Wedding Photographer | Jen & Josh
I was honored when Jen and Josh asked me to shoot their wedding on the beautiful Whidbey Island in Washington State. When they told me the wedding date was going to be in May and they were going to be having the ceremony outside, I thought to myself, “who plans a May wedding on the wet-side ‘west side’ of Washington in May?” For those of you who don’t know the region well, May is normally a cooler wet month on the west side of Washington so it was a pretty big risk. Back to Jen and Josh…I have known Josh since before he could drive. I’m not sure how old he was actually, maybe 14 or 15 when I first met him at Church. I had the pleasure of becoming a friend of his and have gotten to watch him grow and mature as a great man. I met Jen a few years later and she is such a great person for Josh. She has really loosened him up a bit. As you can see by the photos the weather was AMAZING and Jen and Josh are so comfortable in front of the camera that all I had to do was not mess up when pressing the button.
